Chaplains' Discretionary Fund

The Chaplains’ Discretionary Fund was established to allow UNC Health Blue Ridge Chaplains to assist patients with needs that may produce financial hardships and go beyond care received at our facilities.

Eligible recipients of funds from the Chaplains' Discretionary Fund are any UNC Health Blue Ridge patient, resident or caregiver who has exhausted all other financial resources and has a need for:

Medications for a patient/resident being discharged
Transportation
Food
Medical equipment
Other items needed for a successful discharge
